This fun, interactive course is for people wanting the basics of road side repair and safety. Participants are encouraged to bring their bikes to the workshop and are shown how to perform a basic ‘ABC Quick Check’ to ensure safety before your ride. We review some simple maintenance tips that can be done at home to prolong bike life, as well as how to change and patch a flat tire, untangle a chain and make emergency adjustments to your brakes + gears. All courses include time for participant questions. During this course, you will learn how to: Safety check your bike Fix and patch a flat tire Clean, oil and untangle a stuck chain.
